How Do You Brew A Variety Of Teas?
Tea has been enjoyed for centuries. There is a wide variety of tea available for your enjoyment. Brewing an awesome cup of tea depends on the type of tea you are preparing. The following guidelines are for your enjoyment! Black tea is a robust variety of tea. It can be brewed in boiling water and steeped for up to 6 minutes. This makes a very strong cup of tea. Herbal teas are quite popular and offer a wide spectrum of flavors. As a general rule, start with a standard cup of boiling water and steep a tea bag for 3 to 4 minutes. Green tea has become well known within the last few years. Green tea is less mature than back tea. Water should not be hotter than 160 degrees and tea should be steeped no longer than 4 minutes. White tea is one of my new favorites. White tea leaves are immature and have a very delicate flavor. Water should be around 170 degrees, just barely boiling. Steep white tea 4 to 6 minutes.
