Now the important part of a softball glove is how to form it and how to break it in. To do that usually you just want to be able to pad it in a couple of times, make sure that you get all the forming you need. A lot of the times, people like to break out the web, curve it a little bit, opens up for the pocket, allows the ball for a little bit easier to go in with it stays secure in the pocket. Now the other way that other people do it, they tend to go on the outside and they curve it in so that it comes out in more of a round formation so again it ends up having a pocket, more secure for the ball. Another way to break in a glove is to start playing catch. Playing catch allows for the glove to start getting used to the ball that you’re going to be using.
