Have you ever wondered how to keep your egg yolks from turning green? Well the solution is simple. You just start with a pot of cold water (enough to cover the eggs) and add a teaspoon of salt to the water. Place lid on the pot and allow water to come to a rolling boil. Turn the burner off and let the eggs sit for exactly 14 minutes and remove from stove. Drain the hot water and replace it with cold water. To peel the eggs, pop them on their bottom then roll them on their sides until all areas are cracked. Start to peel from the bottom and work your way up. Works every time! Put eggs in pot. Cover eggs with cold water and add 1 teaspoon salt to water. Bring water to rolling boil and cover with lid and immediately turn off heat. Let sit for 14 minutes and remove from heat. Drain hot water and replace with cold water.
