How Do You Boil A Chicken For Freezing?
Ever find a great deal on whole chicken or pieces? I am going to explain to how you to boil it and freeze it to save for other recipes to be used later. Purchase an entire chicken or large amount of pieces for a good deal at your local grocery store. Get out your large pot and place it on the stove. Turn your burner up to high heat. Fill the pot about 1/2 way with water and place it on the burner to start boiling. Once your water is to a boil, place all of your chicken into the pot. Turn it down to a medium heat, so that it won’t boil over. Let it boil for approx. 20-30 minutes. Check your chicken to make sure it is no longer pink in the center. Once it is done remove it and place it all on a cookie sheet. Get out your ziplock bags and place them by the cookie sheet. You are now going to use a fork and your fingers to shred the chicken. Place what you would you use as one serving in each baggie. Seal them up and put them in your freezer to use in pot pie, noodles, or whatever other gre
