If Sprint is your cellphone provider, there is a easy way to block certain numbers from sending you phone calls and text messages. Once you have blocked the number, you don’t have to worry about receiving unwanted calls and texts. Start a new text message in your phone. Use “9999” as the recipient of the text message. Type “BLOCK” followed by the phone number you want to block, without the dashes in the message body. The message should look like this: BLOCK 1234567890. Send the message and wait for confirmation. You will receive an incoming text that says, “Text message from [the number you chose] are now blocked.” Go to the “Security” settings on your phone.
