you have to tag a enemy by tapping L1 once and you block holding R1, (LB and RB for xbox) then you press Square (X for Xbox) to do counter moves, however you cant do these moves at the start of the game, you’ve got to get to a certain point in the game to unlock them, but it doesn’t take long.
