How Do You Block Incoming Text Messages On Verizon Wireless?
Text messaging has become a popular feature for many cell-phone users. However, you may have some friends who text you beyond what you can afford, or perhaps some people text you when you do not wish to correspond. You can block up to 20 numbers through Verizon Wireless and limit the number of texts you receive. Log into the Verizon Wireless website (see Resources). Register with Verizon if your have not already done so. Click on “Register” on the right side of the page. Fill in the requested information and create a password. After signing in, click on the “Messages” tab located halfway down the page. This tab will be between “Minutes” and “Data.” Click on “My Usage.” Scroll down to the bottom of the webpage. Look for a box with the title “Usage Controls” at the top. Click on “Manage Usage Controls” in the box. Add the $4.99 monthly access to your plan.
