How Do You Block Email Addresses Due To Harassment?
Blocking an email address is a simple task and is a safe way to be sure that the person harassing you cannot get in touch with you. With email blocking put in place, the undesired email will be deleted before you ever even see it. It will not go into a separate folder such as Spam, Junk or Deleted Items. It will essentially “disappear” as though it never came to you in the first place. Different email programs use different methods to block certain addresses. Outlook is a popular email program and makes it easy to block senders. Open a message from the person/company with which you want to block all email correspondence. Locate the “Block Sender” option in your email program. This can be found in several different locations depending on your email system. In Outlook, you can simply right-click on the message and a menu will pop up with an option to add the sender to your “Block Sender” list.
