How do you bleed the fuel line in a ford 1920 tractor?
General bleeding method: Turn fuel on.Loosen fuel filter a little till completely full, slowly spin tight. I have worked on 1920’s but do not remember if there is a bleeding screw on the injection pump… if there is you back off a little bit until air bubbles stop coming out and tighten up. If not, now you know you have fuel to the filter, crack one of your nuts loose at the injector on the cylinder head. Crank the engine until you see fuel coming out. Then on to the next one. Don’t turn over so long you burn up the starter. Give it a rest if you need to. If you are seeing fuel with no air bubbles at the nuts, and it still won’t start, you could have another problem. Let me know if you got her going…
