How Do You Bind Off Items Knitted In The Round?

0

Binding off with circular knitting is the same as knitting bind-offs in straight knitting. Binding off is also called “casting-off” and is no more difficult than binding-off with straight knitting; however knitting in the round eliminates those seams, meaning quicker-knitting! There are many, many types of bind-offs that can be applied here- but we’re just gonna stick with the normal, simple everyday bind-off. (try the resources at the bottom of the page for some books and links to find other types of binding-off) Starting at the first stitch, you knit the first stitch. Knit the second stitch and drop the first stitch over the second with the left needle. Repeat until you get to the last stich. Before you you pull the yarn end through the last loop, loop it under the first stitch in the round- this connects them, but it is not essential. Now you pull the yarn end through the last loop and weave in your ends as usual! Viola!
