Studying God’s Word inductively means we have a clear purpose and a structured process to guide us through. Inductive has three elements. The best way to remember those elements is by thinking of a traffic signal with red, yellow, and green lights. The first element is OBSERVE. We’ll call this one the Red light. What do we do at a red traffic light? We STOP of course! God wants us to stop when we study His word too. Look at the facts we see in the verses. Identify who is writing to whom. When was it written?
