How Do You Better Relate To People, Kids And Pets?
To be able to effectively communicate with People, kids and pets you need to first understand them. They say that as a child we develop a character and an ego that we keep with us our entire lives. They also say to understand someone you must walk a mile in their shoes. Well if we walk a mile in their shoes and still maintain our own egos then all we have accomplished is putting an extra mile on their shoes. We need to fully understand where they are coming from and what their state of mind is. We must learn to be at the level of the person, child or pet that we are dealing with. This is the hardest part because it means being out of character something that we are not as comfortable doing. The first thing we need to do is get over the feeling of embarrassment.
