Slide your electrical conduit into the bender’s conduit insertion pathway. Make sure you account for the length of conduit you want to have after the bending point. Pull back on the conduit bender’s handle while applying a downward force with your heel on the bender’s foot hold. Continue pulling back until the etched line which corresponds to your desired bend degree is parallel to the ground. Remove the conduit from the bender and check the degree of the bend with a hand level to ensure it is at the desired angle. Check the conduit against its intended mounting area to ensure a snug fit.
