How Do You Become An Army Recruiter?
Now more than ever, the Army is in need of qualified, motivated individuals to help recruit the best and brightest American citizens to serve their country. Army recruiters serve in all three components of the Army: on active duty, in the Guard and in the Reserves. The job of recruiting can be a very fulfilling job and offers many opportunities that most soldiers do not get to experience. Serve in the Army as an enlisted person. If you are not currently serving in the Army, but have prior Army service, you can also apply for a position in the Army as a recruiter. You will need to re-join the Army before applying for a recruiting position. An individual must be a Non-Commissioned Officer in the rank of E-5 or above. Specialists and Corporals (E-4) who have been selected for promotion may also apply for recruiting positions.
