How Do You Become An AKC Dog Obedience Judge?
Competition obedience has been a popular dog sport for many years, and has a long history of sponsorship by the American Kennel Club (AKC). Application for certification as an obedience judge is eligible to persons who have owned and trained a dog to an AKC Utility Dog (UD) title, and earned an additional Companion Dog (CD) title on another dog.
