A warrant officer is an Army specialist who is skilled at leading, advising and training. A warrant officer may work in a variety of positions within the Army. One may direct special units, command war vessels, lead a task force or other duties according to the Army’s needs. These specialized soldiers have completed training to be effective in their jobs.
