How Do You Become A Virginia Game Warden?
Protecting natural resources in Virginia has been the responsibility of Game Wardens for over 100 years. If you’re looking for a career with the Virginia Game Warden Association, then look no further. Here’s everything you need to know before you apply. Get your high-school diploma. If you don’t already have one, you can take night courses. You can also use a G.E.D. or high-school equivalent to qualify for the Game Warden job in Virginia. Participate in one year of post-secondary training. Check with your community college for law-enforcement or environmental-advocacy courses. You’re not eligible to be a Virginia Game Warden if you haven’t completed a year or more of post-secondary training. Get your eyes examined.
