While most people know about national elections and voting for their congressmen, senators, and the president, there are state-level elections that are often voted on at the same time. One of these elections is for the state delegate to the House of Delegates. In some states, its called the House of Representatives and in others, the Assembly. These are basically three different names for the same position and the procedure is essentially the same for those seeking election to these posts. Step 1 Chose a political party to join.
