Let’s be honest: chess is a difficult game to master. There is no five-step eHow article that can suddenly propel you to a master strength tournament player. The reason why is that chess requires both the learning and synthesis of dozens of skills and understanding hundreds of types of positions. This series of articles will show you the proper order for developing these critical skills and point out the resources you will need along the way.
