How Do You Become A Senior Ranger At Acadia National Park?
Okay, I did an article on How to Become a Junior Ranger at Acadia National Park, and another on How To become an On line Web Ranger, now this one is for anyone 18 years old or older who still wants to learn more about Acadia National Park. And yes, you will earn a real Senior Ranger Patch to show off on your coat. First you have to purchase your Senior Ranger booklet at either Blackwoods campground in Otter Creek, or Seawall Campground in Seawall, or at the Visitor’s Center off route 3 in Hull’s Cove. Complete 7 to 10 of the activities in the senior ranger booklet. Attend two ranger led programs or volunteer to do some trail work for a day. Either way, your bound to have lots of fun, learn new things about Acadia national Park and meet new people. When finished with your goals, return the booklet to either of the two Acadia National Park campgrounds, or the Nature Center along route 3, or the Visitor’s Center in Hull’s cove off route 3, and a ranger will look it over, sign it and prese
