How do you become a published writer?
I have always wanted to write the great American novel. Well, I’m not sure if I’ve done that, but, I just recently got my first book published!!! I’ve been asked by so many how did I do it. So, for all those that want to know, I’m gonna tell you and get in a shameless plug for myself. Step 1 I had always wanted to write a book. Most people have a story to tell, either something they experienced or witnessed. It usually is something that you know. I wrote a book about an experience that I had in a relationship. I researched several different publishing houses before I even completed the manuscript. Know what the publishing house publishes. Why would you send a romance novel to a publisher who publishes science fiction, unless your romance novel is set in outer space. Step 2 Once I completed my novel.
