Since Im a writing coach, almost every day I meet someone who SAYS he wants to become a published author. But once I get to know this person, I realize that he never seems to write anything. I know (even if he doesnt) that the REAL reason he doesnt write is because hes afraid. I know what hes thinking: His work wont be good enough – or – someone will criticize his writing no matter how good it might be – or- he wont get published no matter how hard he tries. So, while he has BIG writing plans for the FUTURE, right now hes NOT writing much of anything – if hes even writing at ALL. If youre one of these people, heres my advice to you: Just write something!
