How Do You Become A New York Jets Cheerleader?
Being a cheerleader for a National Football team is much more complicated than being a cheerleader in high school or college. The New York Jets cheerleading and dance squad is known as the “Flight Crew,” and they don’t accept just anyone. Those who wish to become part of the squad must go thorough several stages of training before they are considered for a spot. Determine if you meet the minimum requirements. Those who will be considered for a position must be at least 18 years of age and have completed high school. They must be willing to travel to New Jersey for games and rehearsals at least two to three times per week. Members of the Flight Crew cannot be a member of any other professional or college sports organization. Download an application for the Flight Crew.
