How Do You Become A Naval Aviator?
Naval aviation is an esteemed career option in the U.S. Navy. Full of tradition and pride, a career as a naval aviator is hard sought. The process from the beginning of flight school to the winging ceremony takes one to two years. The final prize for years of studying and preparation is a gleaming pair of Wings of Gold. Every path starts in Pensacola, Florida, in the “Cradle of Naval Aviation.” Step 1 Study for and pass the Aviation Selection Test Battery. This exam will test your logic and math skills as well as your knowledge of basic aviation and naval history. Passing this exam will qualify you to select an aviation path in your Naval career.
