How Do You Become A Mage In Planescape Torment?
The ability to regularly change between character classes is one of the most fun aspects of Torment, but finding how to change classes can be frustrating without a little help. Step 1 After The Nameless One leaves the Mortuary, head to Ragpicker’s Square and enter the large hut in the middle of the Square. Speak with the old woman Mebbeth until you receive a dialog option to ask her if she is a witch. After she responds then ask her to teach you the Art. Step 2 Mebbeth will ask The Nameless One to complete several tasks before she will teach him to become a mage. Take the seed that Mebbeth gives you, leave Ragpicker Square, and head off to the Marketplace. Talk to the merchant by the crates and he will direct you to speak with Mourns-For-Trees, who can be found just north of the Smoldering Corpse Bar.
