How do you become a hairdresser in europe?
All people I know who are hairdresser in the Netherlands did go to school here, so they did get their training in Dutch, in the Dutch school system. There is a day school, going to school fulltime for several years, the schools have customers come in for the students to train on. Or you can go to school for one day each week while you work in a hairdressers shop, this will be several years, most likely longer than the dayschool, but trains to the same level. If you are trained as hairdresser you might be able to work in Europe, (the Netherlands or an other country) but you will need to get your diploma’s ‘translated’. This also involves comparing what you have been taught with what is the norm in the country where you want to work. I do not know whether it is needed to have valid diplomas to work as hairdresser, but any employer will want to know how you are trained and which level of work to expect from you.
