Are you stuck in a rut at your current job? Are you in high school and don’t see college in your future, but don’t want to work as a burger flipper your whole life? Then the beauty industry is the place for you! It might take some schooling after high school, but nothing near as tedious as college. It’s fun, rewarding, and has flexible hours. Plus, you get paid for making people look gorgeous! • If you are still in high school, check and see if your school has a vocational school/community college that they work with. Often, you can spend one-half to two-thirds of your day learning how to be a hair stylist and spend the other part doing normal school work back at your high school (math, English, history).
