Responsible for upholding the hunting, fishing, trapping, conservation and park rules and laws, it is a job that requires both keen intelligence and love and respect of nature. Earn degree in biology, environmental science, criminal justice or any related program that includes wildlife management. During your education, take internships that allow you to work hands-on in the field. These may include hunting weigh stations, educational programs for children, offshore marine rescue, wildlife conservation lectures and wildlife census taking. This will give you valuable hands-on experience that will set you apart from many candidates. Apply for positions at your internship location after you graduate. The management will have prior firsthand knowledge of your skills and work ethic and may value this above someone else’s experi
