Cosmetic or plastic surgeons work on patients to correct physical features. These procedures may or may not be medically necessary. In some cases a patient may wish for a smaller nose or larger breasts, for example. In other cases a patient may have had an accident or been born with a deformity that needs correction. Becoming a cosmetic surgeon is rewarding yet demanding. To become a plastic surgeon you will need to first attend a 4-year college. If you are in high school, aim for good grades.
