How Do You Become A Cool Detective?
• Get your outfit, like jeans a black or brown shirt. • Get your gear, like some bobby pins/keys to pick simple locks, motion detector etc. • Train yourself for an upcoming situation. • Get some friends (It’s not fun without them!) • Make a base usually in an attic or cellar/Basement! • Have a good detective kit with you at all times, which includes a compass, a magnifying glass and binoculars,etc. • Never get yourself into a situation that you cannot get out of. • Everything is evidence… remember that when you are looking for clues. • Read lots of mystery books (ex. “Nancy Drew”, Half Moon Investigations, the “Hardy Boys”, the “Sammy Keyes” series, and “Sherlock Holmes”). • Have fun and keep at sleuthing! • Be alert at all times (ex: Detective Jairo Diaz) • Have a good personality and never think too highly of yourself.2 • Have a backpack to put all of your gadgets in.
