How do you beat Xigbar in Kingdom Hearts 2?
As soon as the battle begins, Xigbar teleports to a balcony where he attempts to snipe Sora. Start running left or right until you’re prompted to hit Triangle to use Break. Follow up with a few Warp Snipes to hit Xigbar and cause him to come down and join the battle. As far as strategy goes, the best thing I can offer is this: he teleports around a lot. He shoots a lot. He does have to reload, however. Since he’s hard to keep up with, run towards him, but be ready to use Guard to reflect his lasers back at him. This will damage him and save you the hassle of losing too much HP. When he’s reloading (you’ll hear him mention it), run up and start hacking at him. He can also change the playing field around a bit. When there’s gaps in the floor, it can be hard to reach him. You can’t jump over the gaps due to invisible barriers, so do your best to run around and hit him to change the field back to normal. You can actually still use Guard successfully when Xigbar shoots straight down at you
