How do you beat Darkrai (in Dark Crater) in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 (Time)?
Well, I’ve yet to beat him (I get intimidated nearly every turn) but this seems like a viable stratagy right away. Shoot Darkrai with flamethrower. You might burn him. Then, when they close in, kill arbok with a flamethrower quickly (it knows mud bomb). Then start working on Magmortar (dig). These two can intimidate, alongside Darkrai. Also, make sure Aggron goes down somehow. He’ll cause trouble with protect. Watch the mismagius because it knows astonish and can take Cresselia’s life down by half. Piplup should be able to handle itself well. So long as your chimchar has the non-sleeping IQ (obtained pretty quickly) 80% of Darkrai’s attacks will miss. Just keep you hp up and hopefully you’ll make it.
