How Do You Be On An All Star Cheer Team?
• If your parents don’t know what cheerleading really is and they think all cheerleaders do is jump up and down in football games with pom-poms, talk to them. Explain that cheer is your passion and there’s much more to it than shaking pom-poms. Show them some videos on youtube! • Before you become a cheerleader, start acting like a cheerleader. Be happy, smile, make friends, don’t be mean, laugh a lot, and be sporty! Remember that being mean and rude to other teammates could get you kicked off the cheerleading squad, so remember to be nice to everyone in your team and outside our team. • Don’t be lazy! Cheerleaders can’t be lazy. Don’t just sit in front of the TV all day, practice and get some exercise, too. • Before you become an all-star cheerleader, you need to know what all-star cheerleading is.
