Being a hall monitor is about helping your school. Younger kids might look up to you, and you do not want to set a bad example. So remember: don’t abuse your job as a hall monitor. • Don’t break the rules: You are the hall monitor that corrects students that are breaking the rules. Don’t break them yourself! You’re a hall monitor because you understand the rules and will follow them. So if you break the rules, you’re breaking your promise as a hall monitor. • Stay Organized: A tidy hall monitor is a happy hall monitor. Stay organized and clean. Don’t wear a dirty shirt and jeans to school. Dress your part. Take a shower everyday, and change everyday.
