How Do You Be A Good Hostess?
• Welcome your guests as they walk in. Be polite and smile as you greet them. Offer to take their things and put them nicely away. • Provide space for everyone to sit. No one likes being the only one having to stand. If you can, offer your own seat to a guest. • Make sure food is provided! This is very important as it is rude to not feed someone who comes to your house. Be aware if any of your guests have allergies. • Be a servant to your guests. Ask them if they need things, and get them things too. To be a great hostess, pay attention to your guests. Ask them if they need anything, mingle, just have fun! • Don’t get mad about an accident. If there is a spill or broken item, keep your cool. Remember, accidents are just that. Clean up the mess and move on. • If you like, serve guest favours to all people attending your party.
