How Do You Be A Good Big Brother Or Sister?
Here’s some tips on being a good older sibling: • Don’t steal stuff from younger siblings. • If you borrow stuff from them, let them borrow stuff from you. • Babysit when needed. • Be patient and help them with their homework. • Stand up for them. • Don’t make fun of them. • Attend their sporting events, plays, etc. • Congratulate them for their achievements. • Hang out with them. • Make them comfortable with you; not just when they are apart from you. Let them trust you. • Protect them from anything harmful. • Play with them sometimes, but don’t hassle them if you’re better in their games! • Help mom or dad with house work around the house • Be a good role model • If you don’t get along with your siblings, don’t worry, you’ll grow out of it. • If you tell them you hate them you’ll regret it. Whenever you argue (It will happen) think about how the arguement could affect you in the future.
