• Decide whether you really want to do this. Being fashionable requires enthusiasm and passion, and shouldn’t be a chore. • Organize a shopping trip. If you have older siblings in their late teens, ask them to take you, as they will be able to offer advice and pick out the best clothes. • Give away any clothes that don’t fit you, or you hardly ever wear. Be prepared for the fact that your parents will probably be reluctant to throw out clothes that still fit you. • Mix and match clothes in your new spiced up wardrobe. You’re likely to find a combination that really works. • Wear a belt. It is rare that a teenage boy can keep his pants up without a belt, and you’ll have to start getting used to wearing one, whether you tuck your shirt in or not. • Get some accessories going – it doesn’t have to be jewelry (but it can)! Wear a nice watch. Get a few different hats (and keep them clean) if you are a hat-wearer. And like it says above, wear a belt – and have more than one! It is sloppy and
