How Do You Batch Rename Adobe Photoshop Files?

0

The batch renaming option in Adobe Photoshop converts the names of images from a digital camera to something more meaningful than a number. It is quick since you can do them all at once. You can also add a date, give them numbers, names or change the file extension. Close any files that are open. Go to “File,” and then “Browse” to open the File Browser. Go to the folder with the photos you want to rename. To use this function, all the files must be in the same folder. If they are not, move all the files to the same folder before you proceed. Drag the thumbnail images to arrange them in a special order for sequential numbering. If you want to rename only some of the files within the folder, click the thumbnail of any image you want to rename. You can select multiple files by holding down the Ctrl key, in Windows or the Command key in Mac. Go to Automate, and then Batch Rename from the menu bar at the top of the File Browser window. You can choose to move the files to a different folder
