How Do You Bake The Perfect Snickerdoodle Cookie?
My co-workers BEG me for my Snickerdoodles. Crisp edges and soft in the middle with a perfect mixture of sugar and cinnamon all around. I’ve been using this recipe for years and have a faithful following of those who not only buy my cookies for themselves but, give them as gifts for the holidays. Follow this recipe and you’ll be the envy of your family, friends and co-workers. A word of caution though, they’ll be addicted to them in no time! Combine the Crisco, Shedd’s Spread and Sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add the Eggs and mix them in well. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (Flour, Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda & Salt). Be sure to whisk them together for good incorporation, Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while mixing on medium speed. Make sure everything is mixed well. If the dough is too wet, just add a little bit of flour. You want a consistency that will press together into a large moist ball. Place the completed dough into a bowl just a little larger
