How Do You Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies?
These cookies are great for the peanut butter cookie lover and the chocolate chip cookie lover. The dough is easier to work with if you refrigerate it for a couple of hours before spooning them onto a baking pan. This recipe makes about thirty cookies. In a large bowl, mix both of the sugars, peanut butter, shortening, margarine egg, and chocolate chips. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir till well mixed. Place in refrigerator for about two hours. Heat oven at 375 degrees. Roll dough into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Be sure to leave some spacing between the cookies since they will flatten out a bit. If you like, you can make criss-cross patterns with a fork to make them look more like a traditional peanut butter cookie. Bake for about nine minutes or until light golden brown. Cool for a few minutes before removing from pan. Enjoy.
