How Do You Bake An All-American Double-Crusted Apple-Pear Pie?
This is one of our family favorites! Whether for a Thanksgiving dinner or a Fourth of July celebration, this double-crusted pie is sure to win praises. This pie may be prepared ahead – frozen – and then go from freezer to oven for a freshly baked pie on even the busiest days. (It will keep in freezer at least a month) Take pie crusts out of refrigerator to bring to room temp.
