How Do You Bake A Simple White Cake?
This is a very simple, yet delicious, moist white cake recipe. It can be made into a chocolate cake by substituting 1/4 cup cocoa for 1/4 cup of the All-Purpose flour. Put all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir together completely. Then add the all wet ingredients into the large mixing bowl containing the mixed dry ingredients; and mix together thoroughly. This should result in a thick, but pourable batter. If you think the batter is ‘too thick’, just add a little water at a time until you get the desired viscosity. Grease with “Crisco” or other baking lubricant and flour dust a baking pan of suitable size (13 inches X 9 inches) or fill into your pans or cupcake tins of choice. Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes; checking with a toothpick in the middle for completion of baking. Let cool and then you may frost, fruit, or ice cream at your discretion : Yum!
