How Do You Bake A Double Chocolate Brownie?
• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit/180ºC. • Sift the flour into a bowl. • Beat the egg with an electric mixer in a separate bowl. • Add the sugar, the milk, and the melted semi-sweet chocolate to the bowl with the egg. • Mix gently with a spoon. • Add the flour approximately 1 tablespoonful at a time, mixing gently after each addition. • Beat thoroughly until well mixed. • Pour into greased and floured pans or fancy cake tins. • Bake in hot oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, corresponding to the size of the pan or tins. • Cool for 10 minutes on the unheated stove top or on a rack. • Cut into bars when cool, using a plastic knife with short sawing motions. Serve brownies with a scoop of ice cream, chocolate syrup and/or raspberries on top.
