How Do You Bake A Decadent Praline French Toast Dish?
Who doesn’t love French Toast? Want a new and different way to fix it? If you love praline dishes and new ideas, here is a great recipe your family is sure to rave about. It is a wonderful dish to take and serve at a morning brunch or gathering too. Try serving it for special occasions like Christmas morning breakfast or for a sleepover breakfast. It is sure to impress! This recipe takes an old favorite and turns it into a decadent, new fancy dish! Mix together: 6 large eggs, 3 Cups whole milk or half & half, 2 T. Pure Vanilla Extract, 3 t. Cinnamon, 3 T. flour, and 1/2 C. Sugar. Line a 9 X 13 inch greased pan with slices of thick Texas style bread. Pour in 1/2 of the mixture. Put in another layer of bread and pour remaining liquid on top of bread slices. In another bowl, mix well 3/4 C. chopped Peans, 1/4 C. flour, 1/2 C. butter, 1 C. of Brown Sugar and spread all over the bread slices. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes until puffy and golden. Serve with warm syrup. Yum!
