How Do You Bake A Christmas Turkey?
Daunted by the thought of preparing a Christmas turkey? Fear no more! The Christmas turkey will practically cook itself! The first thing that you will want to do is preheat the oven. Get out your thawed turkey. Remove the plastic wrapping from the turkey. I would do this over the sink or in a large pan as the juice/water will probably leak out. Remove all of the giblets from the inside of the bird. Be sure to check both cavities! Rinse the turkey. Now, take out one of the oven bags. Open the bag and place a tablespoon of flour inside the bag. This is to help keep it from bursting. Place the turkey inside the bag. Make sure the turkey is breast-side up. Take a little olive oil and rub it all over the top of the turkey. This can be a little messy but worth the effort. Sprinkle your seasonings on top of the turkey.
