How Do You Backup Nintendo Wii Games?
Getting called away while playing a Wii game stinks, especially if you haven’t backed up your game. Back up the game at exactly the point you were stopped so that you can get back at it when time permits, or even make copies of your discs just in case. Make sure that your computer can recognize Wii programming. Wii discs need a special recognition program to be seen by your computer. You can go to a Wii game site to get one (see Resources below). Insert your Wii disc into your CD or DVD drive to activate the program. A window should appear on your screen that may take you through some one-time installation instructions depending on your computer. Save your Wii game information to your hard drive. Once the information on your Wii disk is on your computer, you can save the game or burn it to another disc to play elsewhere. Remove your Wii disc. It can now be reinserted into your Wii. You are good to go for next time, and your game is backed up securely.
