How Do You Backup Favorites In Internet Explorer?

0

Ever wondered how you can backup/restore the collection of links you produced in IE (aka Internet Explorer) over the years? Or transfer them to your other computer? It’s actually very easy! • Open the Windows Explorer (File Explorer, not Internet Explorer) • Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\******, where ****** is the username you are logged on under (many people use ‘Admin’). • The directory will contain a folder named ‘Favorites’ (it’s symbol is a star, not a folder symbol). Copy the whole folder to a Backup Disk, a USB Stick, or just somewhere else on your hard-disk. Done! To Restore the favorites on the same or any other computer, replace the ‘Favorites’ folder that you find there by the one you are bringing (delete the existing first, then copy your one there).
