Open Analysis Services from Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Right click the database that you would like to backup and select ‘backup’. A window will pop up where you will need to specify the name of the backup file, the location of the backup, and also a password if you want to protect it. Once you are done filling out all of that info just press okay. Depending on how big your database is it could take awhile for it to backup.
