You can set up a database to backup periodically to ensure you always have a recent backup. Open Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine. Either click the link on the server’s desktop or go to “Start — All Programs — Microsoft SQL Server — Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine.” Use the object explorer tree that is located on the left of the screen to expand your server name. Click to expand the “Databases” section. Depending in the type of database, either expand User Databases or System Databases. Right-click the database you wish to backup. Click “Tasks — Backup.” Verify the name
