When the Internet was first developed, several malicious people tried to trick the average newcomer with fake websites. One that comes to mind was a pornographic site with a similar URL to the White House web page. Now, a new crop of offensive material has popped up in advertising in search result windows. Searching for toy handcuffs for your son may come along with advertisements for local sex shops. Large search engines, such as Google, have now put options in place for users to set their browsing preferences to remove these advertisements.
